A little seed is having a very bad day.

One minute everything is fine. The next, it has been dropped into a hole, covered with dirt, left in the dark—and somebody keeps pouring water on it!

Convinced something has gone terribly wrong, the determined little seed tries to escape. But while it worries, wiggles, waits, and pushes, something unexpected is happening beneath the soil: it is growing.
